It might seem strange for me, someone who offers their own workshops and training, to make a list of my competitors. But when you learn about consent as a intimacy director, one of the things that's really important is to give people all the knowledge they need to make an informed decision. Everyone has the freedom to pick whoever feels right to them, not whoever they happen to find first.

Disclaimer: I haven't attended any of these, so I can't speak on their quality. Please look into any workshops and courses before committing time, energy and money to them. If you have experienced any of the following companies, leave a comment to share your experience with others.

I will continue to update this list as I find more resources.

Intimacy Direction (for stage)

RC-Annie offers a range of workshops, for both people aspiring to be intimacy directors and also for people facilitating intimacy rehearsals.

Offers half day, day long or several day courses. Workshops can be aimed at actors in a cast, or directors, theatres, universities, colleges and other organisations that deal with onstage intimacy. With a particular focus on amateur and regional theatre.

A US-based organisation, offering some online workshops.

One of the original intimacy organisation, offering open online workshops for both Direction and Coordination. They also offer a certification course.

Offers the occasional one-off intimacy-orientated workshop.

Intimacy Coordination (for TV & Film)

Offers a 6-month course specifically for intimacy on screen.

Offers an introduction to intimacy coordination day workshop.

Inactive

I haven't seen ISS offer anything substantial for several years now.
